Hyderabad: The State Bank of India (SBI) in Hyderabad marked the 79th Independence Day by aiming to inspire a sense of patriotism and national unity. They organized various activities to honor our common heritage and values.
S. Radhakrishnan, Chief General Manager of the Hyderabad Circle, raised the national flag at the SBI Local Head Office in Koti. Everyone present sang the National Anthem together.
In his speech, Radhakrishnan talked about India’s impressive progress from times of scarcity to self-reliance. He reminisced about his childhood experiences of standing in ration lines and relying on foreign aid for wheat. Now, he highlighted, India exports food grains and enjoys economic stability.
He praised the important contributions of civil organizations in building the nation. He emphasized State Bank of India as a significant player in this journey, supporting various sectors like industry, services, education, and healthcare. With great pride, he mentioned SBI’s achievements as the largest commercial bank, the most profitable company, and one of the most trusted brands worldwide.
