Gadwal: A disturbing murder case has emerged involving 32-year-old Tejeshwar, a private surveyor from Rajaveedhi in Gadwal. He had been missing for a few days, and his body was found near Pinnapuram Lake, close to Panyam in Andhra Pradesh, according to his family.
A twist in the case involves Tirumala Rao, a well-known bank manager from Kurnool. He allegedly had an affair with a woman from Kallur and questionable ties with her daughter. The daughter had recently married Tejeshwar in a love marriage.
Reports indicate that Tirumala Rao, with his mother, conspired to kill Tejeshwar out of jealousy over the marriage. They lured Tejeshwar under the guise of a land survey and then murdered him.
The investigation began when Tejeshwar’s brother, Tejavardhan, reported him missing at the Gadwal Town Police Station. The Gadwal SP quickly formed a special team to intensify the search. Using mobile location data, police traced Tejeshwar’s last location to Pinnapuram Lake.
On Saturday night, Gadwal police, with help from Kurnool’s 3-Town CI Seshayya and Panyam police, found and retrieved the body. The remains were sent to Kurnool Government Hospital for postmortem and remain there.
Two associates of Tirumala Rao have been detained for questioning. Gadwal SI Kalyan suggests more people might be involved in this planned crime.
Tejeshwar had married a girl from the Kallur estate. Allegedly, Tirumala Rao had an affair with the girl’s mother and possibly intentions towards the girl, leading to his alleged role in the murder out of revenge.
Authorities continue to question suspects to uncover the complete story. The incident has shocked the Gadwal and Kurnool communities, highlighting the severe consequences of illicit affairs and manipulation.
