Hyderabad introduced a new addition to its infrastructure today with the opening of the PJR flyover at 4 pm. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy led the event, joined by Ministers Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Serilingampalli MLA Arekapudi Gandhi.
The flyover is designed to cut down travel times between Madhapur and Shamshabad Airport as well as the Financial District. It provides a long-awaited solution to the area’s traffic congestion.
The Shilpa Layout Phase 2 flyover is also now open, linking Kondapur to the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The government spent Rs 182.75 crore on this 6-lane flyover, featuring three tiers over two existing flyovers. This development is set to ease traffic in the city’s busy IT corridor. Named after the late senior Congress leader PJR, it marks a key advancement in Hyderabad’s urban mobility.
