    The opposition BRS party is facing a big challenge as some of its senior leaders may join the Congress. It is rumored that Telangana Congress Incharge Deepa Das Munshi and AICC general secretary are planning to invite top BRS leaders to switch sides.

    One of the speculated leaders who might join the Congress is K Keshava Rao, a senior BRS leader and Rajya Sabha MP, along with his daughter, GHMC Mayor G Vijayalakshmi. Approximately 10 BRS Corporators are also considering joining the Congress party.

    With the Lok Sabha elections approaching, TPCC President and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has already started trying to attract BRS MLAs to his party. Now, they are also looking to bring in senior leaders from the Congress.

    Deepa Dash Munshi, along with government advisor Vem Narender Reddy and senior Congress leader Rohin Reddy, have met with Vijayalakshmi to discuss joining the Congress. It is anticipated that around 13 corporators may switch sides to the Congress party.
