BRS Working President KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over alleged failures in protecting Telangana’s water rights, accusing him of resorting to vulgar language instead of providing answers on critical issues.
KTR erupted in anger over what he termed as the Chief Minister’s arrogant and reckless remarks. He accused Revanth Reddy of failing to safeguard the state’s water interests, calling it nothing short of treachery against Telangana.
The BRS leader specifically raised concerns about the Palamuru-Rangareddy Project, alleging that the Chief Minister is throttling the project and harming his own district. KTR claimed that Revanth Reddy resorts to cheap dialogues and chest-beating when confronted about compromising on water rights.
KTR criticized the Chief Minister’s approach, stating that he cannot stand up for Telangana or protect the state’s interests. He accused Revanth Reddy of wavering and babbling nonsensically when faced with difficult questions.
Bringing up past controversies, KTR reminded the Chief Minister about the ‘Vote-for-Note’ case, referring to him as someone who was caught red-handed. He alleged that making useless oaths and fleeing when accountability arrives has become a pattern.
The BRS Working President made it clear that he will expose what he called Congress’s water betrayal in the upcoming Assembly sessions and public meetings across the state. He warned that they will not remain silent while harm comes to the state they fought to achieve.
KTR stated that playing diversion dramas with abuses and curses to fool the people will not work every time. He emphasized that the people of Telangana are watching everything closely.
Making a bold prediction, KTR said that Telangana people will dump the Congress party and ensure its defeat in the 2028 elections. He warned that the party will be obliterated without a trace for years to come.
KTR concluded by asserting that no matter how many abuses are hurled or dramas staged, BRS will not stop its fight for Telangana’s interests and farmers’ rights.
