Telangana Shivers as MoulaAli Records 10.2°C, Asifabad Tiryani Drops to 7°C

Telangana continued to experience pleasant winter conditions with temperatures dropping significantly across various parts of the state. MoulaAli and HCU Serlingampally recorded the lowest temperatures in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, both registering 10.2°C. The winter chill spread across multiple localities in the city, providing residents with relief from the usual warm weather. Gachibowli recorded 11.2°C, while Rajendranagar saw temperatures at 11.3°C, making these areas among the coldest spots in the capital city.

Other GHMC areas also witnessed notable temperature drops during this winter spell. Alwal registered 11.8°C, followed by Qutbullapur at 12°C and Jeedimetla at 13°C. Several central locations including Kishanbagh (13.1°C), Neredmet (13.3°C), and Bahadurpura (13.4°C) also experienced cooler temperatures. The iconic Charminar area recorded 13.8°C, matching the temperatures in HimayatnagarKarwanBowenpally, and Shaikpet. The relatively warmer areas within GHMC limits were Secunderabad at 14.6°C and Malkajgiri at 14.8°C.

Across the broader Telangana state, several districts recorded even lower temperatures than the capital city. Tiryani in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district emerged as the coldest location in the state with temperatures plummeting to 7°CBheempoor in Adilabad district followed closely with 8.7°C, while Kohir in Sangareddy district recorded 8.8°CIbrahimpatnam in Rangareddy district saw temperatures at 9.8°C, and Ramagiri in Peddapalli district registered exactly 10°C.

The winter conditions extended to other parts of the state as well, with Markook in Siddipet district recording 10.1°C and Amrabad in Nagarkurnool district registering 10.5°C. The consistent drop in temperatures across multiple districts indicates a widespread winter pattern affecting the entire state, bringing much-needed cool weather to residents across urban and rural areas of Telangana.
