Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad predicts light to moderate rain in Telangana until October 3. Expect heavier showers from October 4 to 6 in certain districts.
This weather change is due to a surface depression in the Bay of Bengal. A new depression forming in north Andaman is expected to become a low-pressure area by Wednesday, leading to increased rainfall. The north coast is currently affected by this surface depression.
Officials mention that this system might cross between south Odisha and the northern coast districts of Andhra Pradesh by October 3.
