Hyderabad – Union Minister Kishan Reddy strongly criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for calling Operation Sindoor a “minor conflict.” Reddy said Kharge’s comments insult the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces.
Speaking late Tuesday night, Reddy said the Congress leader’s remarks were careless and disrespectful. He stressed that calling the operation small takes away from the courage, planning, and strength shown by Indian soldiers.
Reddy asked Kharge pointed questions. “Is destroying nine terrorist camps inside Pakistan, wiping out eleven Pakistan Army bases, and damaging 20% of Pakistan’s military infrastructure just a minor issue?” he asked.
He also pointed out that Indian-made missiles destroyed advanced radar systems and missile defense systems developed by China for Pakistan. “Is this kind of precision and success really a small matter?” he added.
Reddy reminded everyone that Pakistan was shaken enough to ask for peace talks after the operation. “If that isn’t a big deal, what is?” he asked.
He further stated that the world, including India, is applauding the success of Operation Sindoor. Yet, he found it shocking that Congress leaders are dismissing it.
Reddy accused the Congress party of failing to support the Indian Army during their time in power. He claimed Congress still refuses to recognize the military’s achievements even after losing power.
He ended by saying this attitude shows a “bankrupt mindset and mental instability” in the Congress leadership.
