Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will release the first installment of Rythu Bharosa funds on March 22 from Narmetta in Siddipet district. The Chief Minister held detailed discussions with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, and senior officials regarding the fund release mechanism. This marks a significant step in the state government’s commitment to provide direct financial assistance to farmers across Telangana.
In the first phase, ₹3,590 crore will be directly transferred into the bank accounts of 70 lakh farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme for holdings up to one acre. The government has streamlined the process to ensure seamless transfer of funds to eligible beneficiaries. This financial support aims to provide crucial assistance to small and marginal farmers during the agricultural season.
Following the initial release, the second phase will see another ₹2,650 crore being disbursed after 20 days. The third and final phase of Rythu Bharosa funds is scheduled to be released by the end of April. The phased approach has been designed to ensure proper verification and smooth distribution of funds to all eligible farmers across the state.
In total, approximately ₹9,000 crore will be credited to farmers’ accounts across three phases under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. This substantial financial outlay demonstrates the state government’s focus on agricultural welfare and farmer support. The scheme represents one of the largest direct benefit transfer programs for the farming community in Telangana.
