Hyderabad: Six students from Telangana have returned safely to India with help from the State government and Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi. Among them, four came from Iran and two from Israel. They pre-booked flights to Hyderabad and were assisted by Telangana Bhavan staff.
Following Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy‘s instructions, the Government of Telangana is closely watching the Middle East crisis, providing support to returning citizens. The students left Delhi at 5:30 AM on Monday, with officials ensuring their comfort and helping them board their flights.
Officials report that seven more citizens from Telangana are expected to reach New Delhi by Monday evening. They have traveled from Israel to Amman, Jordan, and will soon arrive in India. Preparations are underway to welcome and assist them.
Some Telangana residents in Israel face delays because Israeli airspace is temporarily closed. Despite these challenges, the Telangana government is determined to support all affected citizens, working closely with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Embassies. The Chief Minister has directed officials to provide timely help, accommodation, and travel arrangements for each returning resident.
Citizens are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and avoid unverified news. The Government of Telangana is committed to ensuring the safety and quick return of its people during this difficult time.
